WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
This one day workshop provides teachers with an introduction to the Scratch 2D visual programming software. Scratch provides a platform for students to create their own interactive stories, animations and games whilst applying computational thinking skills.
Participants will:
· Explore the Scratch programming environment
· Create their own computer programs
· Invent with Makey Makey
WORKSHOP INFORMATION
The workshop will be conducted using PCs and Macs (not iPads).
No previous experience with computer programming is required.
Participants will be asked to share their computer programs with others.
