SECONDARY NUMERACY NETWORK

TERM 4 2014 

The Secondary Numeracy Network aims to: 

• develop expertise in numeracy and mathematics teaching and learning 
• build capacity in leading numeracy and mathematics teaching at the school level
• use data to inform learning needs in mathematics and numeracy    
  provide opportunities for networking and discussion on areas related to numeracy and mathematics such as the implementation of the Australian Curriculum   

 
The agenda for the network will include: 

• incorporating Indigenous perspectives into mathematics
• discussion about the Senior Australian Curriculum: Mathematics 
• exploring TinkerPlots for statistics and probability 
• reflections on 2014 - school strategic plan and network professional learning

Each school attending will be reimbursed one ½ day TRT.
