Aboriginal Spirituality 

This session will focus on the connectedness of Aboriginal Spirituality and Christian Spirituality and how each tradition is enriched by the interconnections.

The four participating schools to present aspects of their projects focusing on:

How has the Investing in Focus Schools Project driven whole school change in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander domain?

The sustainability of school initiatives

How has the project benefitted Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families in the respective schools?

The PD session references the following AITSL Australian Professional standards for Teachers

Standard 1 – Know students and how they learn

Standard 2 – Know the content and how to teach it

Standard 6 – Engage in professional learning

Standard 7 – Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community
