SACE Religion Studies – A workshop on best practice and possibilities for 2015 and beyond specifically in the area of Stage 2, but not exclusively.

Jim Freeman, SACE Officer-Curriculum, will be presenting and we will also be hearing from practitioners/ teachers of Religion Studies in our Catholic schools.

This workshop will be useful to:

• teachers of Stage 1 also considering Religion Studies at Stage 2
•  prospective teachers of Stage 2 Religion Studies
•  existing teachers of Stage 2 Religion Studies

The following AITSL standards will be reflected in the workshop content:

Standard 2 – know the content and how to teach it

Standard 6 – engage in professional learning

Standard 7 – Engage professionally with Colleagues, parents/carers and the community

 Light refreshments will be available upon arrival.
