DESCRIPTION:https://registrationcentre.cesa.catholic.edu.au/event-620224\n\nEAL - 2013 - Stage 2 ESL and ESL Studies\n    Stage 2 ESL and ESL Studies Information Session and Assessment Forums\n \n New and Continuing Teachers\n Stage 1 Teachers are also welcome\n \n Last Day to Register: Friday 8th February 2013\n  To support Stage 2 ESL and ESL Studies teachers\, the CESA EAL Team is conducting an information session followed by three assessment sessions during 2013. These will be facilitated by Mei French (ESL Coordinator\, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College) and Lynette Bellwood (EAL Consultant\, CESA). Both Mei and Lynette are members of the SACE Standards and Leadership team for the Stage 2 ESL subjects. These sessions are highly recommended for new and continuing teachers of the SACE ESL subjects.    Information Session: Aspects of the 2013 English as a Second Language/English as a Second Language Studies reports will be addressed in addition to advice on assessment plans\, themes and topics. Changes to the subject outline for 2013 will also be discussed.\n  Assessment Forums: CESA will also provide teachers with the opportunity to clarify and confirm their assessement of students' work through a group moderation process. This is to ensure consistent application and enterpretation of the performance standards across schools.
