Also schools that are intending to submit EAL data in 2019 need to ensure that at least one of their teachers is trained in using the Levels.\n  Maximum of 30 participants\n  PROGRAM OUTLINE:\n\n      * An introduction to the Language and Literacy Levels and links to the Australian Curriculum\n\n        * Learn about the functional model of language at text\, sentence and word level as described in the Language and Literacy Levels\n\n        * Develop knowledge and skills for reliable and valid assessments of written and oral language\n\n        * Build confidence to use the Levels to identify teaching and learning needs\n\n        * Teaching strategies for explicitly teaching language (grammar)\n\n        * Application to own student writing samples\n\n  Cost: no workshop fee\n  Catering: morning tea and lunch will be provided\n  Facilitator: Leading Learning Consultants\n  \n For Further Information regarding registration:\n  Chris Virgin\n chris.virgin@cesa.catholic.edu.au\n or  8301 6851\n
