DESCRIPTION:https://registrationcentre.cesa.catholic.edu.au/event-2899707\n\nThe Future Ready Program unleashes the curriculum innovations of staff\, helping them to create real-world\, classroom ready units for students. With a tailored focus on STEM\, teaching teams will be coached through a strategic design process which will deliver unique\, fully resourced\, project based learning units.\n  Workshop 1: Participants are supported to envision the quality and style of learning they would like to work towards in their school\, acknowledging their current realities and diagnosing  challenges. Engaging with project based learning\, informed by research and best practice from across the globe\, participants will ideate new learning units\, grounding this creativity in the demands of the curriculum for a given year level.\n  Workshop 2: Participants conduct early tests of their concepts with stakeholders between workshop one and two to gain feedback. In workshop two participants work in teams to draw upon these insights and improve their units\, design their assessment tasks and ensure alignment with achievement standards.\n  Workshop 3: Before Workshop 3\, participants finalise their assessment tasks\, and share resources and information with other members of the cohort. In this workshop participants work in groups to complete their skeleton unit overview\, connect new and existing resources to their units and re-engage with new best practice examples from learning centres across the globe.\n  Workshop 4: Before Workshop 4\,  teams work to finalise their unit overviews and collate necessary resources. This workshop sees teams engage with learning around best practice delivery of their units\, ideate real world connections and collaborations to support their programs and gain feedback from their peers to further improve. Participants also learn communication and presentation skills to prepare them for the showcase event.\n  Showcase Event: At the Showcase\, teaching teams present their units to key stakeholders for feedback and to foster authorship and ownership.
