Many 'tried and true' activities and resources will be shared with participants.\n  COURSE INFORMATION\n When: \n Term 3 -  Monday 07 August 2017\, 9.00am - 4.00pm     AND\n                    Monday 21 August 2017\, 9.00am - 4.00pm \n                                            \nLocation: Time Education & Training\n                      83 - 87 Henley Beach Road\, Mile End\n                      (some onsite parking available at the rear)\n                        \n A maximum of 30 participants \n  CORE FOCI AND PRIORITIES\nSupporting Students in the Beginning and Emerging Phases of English Language Learning\n \n AITSL NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS INCLUDE:\n Standard 5: Assess\, provide feedback and report on student learning\n      5.1 Assess student learning\n       5.4 Interpret student data\n Standard 6: Engage in professional learning\n       6.3 Engage with colleagues and improve practice\n  \nEAL/D ELABORATIONS OF THE AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS \nStandard 1: Know students and how they learn\n Standard 2: Know the content and how to teach it\n  \nStandard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning\n       \nINTENDED FOR:\nESO's and teachers working with recently arrived EAL students.\n \n  IMPORTANT NOTES:\n\n  Participants are required to bring a laptop for Day 2 \n \n Cost: no workshop fee\n  Catering: morning tea and lunch will be  provided\n \n FACILITATOR:\n  Marie Davis\n\n For Further Information regarding registration:\nChris Virgin\n chris.virgin@cesa.catholic.edu.au\n 8301 6851\n
