A multimodal text is a combination of two or more communication modes (for example\, print\, image and spoken text\, as in film or computer presentations). http://www.australiancurriculum.edu.au/Glossary?a=E&t=multimodal%20text \n  Tim will showcase a wide range of Adobe multimodal solutions that are regularly used by educators and students to enhance the education process.\n  COURSE INFORMATION\n A workshop using Adobe solutions to allow participants to develop a range of multimodal texts. \n  CORE FOCI AND PRIORITIES\n      * Australia Curriculum - English\n\n        * Australian Curriculum - General Capability - \nCritical and creative thinking across the curriculum\n\n    AITSL NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS INCLUDE        * Standard 2 : Know the content and how to teach it ( 2.6)\n\n        * Standard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning (3.4)\n\n        * Standard 4: Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments (4.5)\n\n  INTENDED FOR: Teachers interested in developing and evaluating multimodal texts.\n  PROGRAM OUTLINE\nA 3 hour workshop to enable participants to explore and develop multimodal texts using a range of  Adobe Solutions.\n  To make the most of this workshop\, participants are encouraged to bring a laptop installed with some of the following programs (trial versions are available)\n\n  Adobe Clip\, Adobe Voice & Adobe Slate are free for IOS devices on the Apple app store via an iPad (Adobe Clip is also available for iPhones).
