Engaging Families In Children's Learning
The session will explore this ‘core part of a teacher’s professional calling and identity’ (Hargreaves and Shirley 2009) where the child’s learning is at the centre and parents are viewed as active partners in their children’s learning.
This is an opportunity for teachers at any point of their career journey – graduate to lead - to build upon their experiences in relation to engaging parents/carers in the educative process and engaging with parents/carers.
